Edward Strong
Edward Strong (died 30 January 1990) was Chancellor of UC Berkeley between 1961 and 1965. He established the department of sociology and social institutions at UC Berkeley in 1946. He was the primary founder of the "Journal of History of Philosophy" and served as the president of American Philosophical Association..
