What is demarcation criteria? How should it be defined?

For a community to accept a theory, it must first be assessed by the method at the time. Since the definition of method suggests that it can consist of different criteria for theory assessment, the community in question must properly define demarcation criteria so as to determine whether the theory in question is scientific or unscientific. A proper definition of demarcation criteria is of great importance.

In the scientonomic context, this term was first used by Hakob Barseghyan in 2015. The term is currently accepted by Scientonomy community.
