Accept the new definition of theory acceptance which makes explicit that accepted theories are a subset of scientific theories.

The modification was suggested to Scientonomy community by Patrick Fraser and Ameer Sarwar on 28 December 2018.1 This modification presupposes the acceptance of Sciento-2018-0013. The modification is currently being evaluated; a verdict is pending.

Preamble

An epistemic stance of scientificity has been proposed by Patrick Fraser and Ameer Sarwar in modification Sciento-2018-0013.2 If that modification becomes accepted, it will be necessary to adjust the definition of theory acceptance to include the idea that accepted theories are a subset of scientific theories.
