Usage

The first parameter will change the "search in" text. For example:

{{engine|these pages}}

Produces: <inputbox> bgcolor=transparent type=fulltext prefix=Template:Engine/doc width=50 searchbuttonlabel=Search in these pages </inputbox>

Also, the optional |work parameter sets the page (and subpages) to be searched. Default is the current page and its subpages.
